Service Manager: Requires considerable experience of transition and transformation assignments, data centre consolidations, outsourcing, managed services, as well as having experience of multi-million pound P&L. The Service Manager should have previous experience of managing significant outsourced services. Our client is a leading IT services company and the Service Manager role involves managing a portfolio of clients with an ACV of c£6 million.
Location: Leeds and Bradford, with regular involvement in Sheffield and the rest of Yorkshire as well as the Newcastle and Manchester regions. Regular travel is part of the role.
Package: £48-55k+25% bonus + car + benefits.
Key responsibilities of the Service Manager:
# Responsible for multi-million P&L Management (revenue, profit, cost), evidenced by achievement or exceeding plans and accurate forecasting.
# Management of contract extensions, renewals etc. with the clients.
# Drive contract extensions and renewals, ensuring financial targets are exceeded.
# Holding regular service reviews with customers.
# Ensure all service obligations are met/exceeded.
# Providing performance statistics and reporting to the customer.
# Leadership/management of 3 direct reports.
# Responsible for running detailed day-to-day contract mechanics, management of change – variations to contract, indexation etc.
Ideal requirements for the Service Manager:
# Solid experience in a Service Management position in the IT Industry.
# Demonstrable experienced in outsourcing, managed services, transition, transformation, data centre consolidations.
# Full responsibility of multi-million pound P&L.
# Proven experience of commercial negotiations.
# Excellent leadership / management experience. |
